InnoWind Project Team Engages Visitors at Energy Week 2026 Poster Session

The InnoWind project team took an active role in the University of Vaasa’s Energy Week 2026 poster session, where several researchers gathered to present the project’s latest developments and engage directly with visitors. Throughout the event, team members introduced attendees to InnoWind’s work on integrating satellite data into windpower planning, environmental monitoring and sustainability assessment, offering a clear picture of how the project contributes to the region’s growing expertise in renewableenergy innovation.

Researchers from different parts of the project were present at the poster stand, explaining methods, early findings and ongoing collaborations. Their participation created a steady flow of discussion with students, industry representatives and other visitors interested in digital tools for windenergy development. Many attendees were particularly curious about how satellitebased observations can support environmental reporting and improve decisionmaking for windfarm projects.

The poster session provided valuable visibility for InnoWind during one of Vaasa’s most important annual energy events. By showcasing their work and engaging with the community, the project team strengthened connections with potential partners and highlighted the role of researchdriven innovation in advancing Finlands renewableenergy transition.
